About me
I am a painter from Helsinki, Finland. I have been painting pictures almost my entire adult life and dreamed of becoming a painting artist. I studied arts for the first time at Hyvinkää art school shortly after primary school but eventually I ended up working in beauty & cosmetics industry. Some years ago, I decided to take another step closer to my dream and applied to study fine arts at the Pekka Halonen Academy. I graduated from the academy in the spring of 2021 as an implementer of visual expression and with the school I feel that I have gotten closer to my dream and at the same time on the path of continuous development and growing as an artist.
My art
I would describe my art mainly as abstract contemporary art flavored with fantasy, although certain subjects such as human figures, animals and for example water lilies are the ones that occasionally enchant me to work on more visual works. Even in these jobs, however, my playful inner self can be very sensitively shown. I love colors and experimenting with different ideas, and I want to create art that lifts the spirits, puts a happy mood and completes the interior - and finally art that can be enjoyed for years to come.
